Sustainability at LAER Realty
Recognizing the urgency of the climate crisis and that many consumers are seeking homes with sustainable features, in 2019 LAER Realty was one of the first real estate firms in the country to hire a Chief Sustainability Officer.
This year LAER released our third annual LAER Sustainability Report (LSR) highlighting our company’s efforts to contribute to a sustainable future through the lens of the residential real estate marketplace in our service areas.
The LSR includes our strategies to engage our staff, agents, consumers, the communities we serve through LAER sustainability initiatives. It also includes an overview of the rapidly expanding green home marketplace in the Northeast and the need for agents that have been trained to properly market and value high-performance homes.
